HealthAspire Granola
This granola is low in fat because I’ve used egg white instead of butter, it’s much lower in sugar than shop bought versions, adding nuts and seeds can boost your intake of good fats.

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170°C.
Step 2
Whisk egg whites until you get a soft peak.
Step 3
Add coconut sugar and whisk until thick. Stir in cinnamon.
Step 4
Mix in oats until well coated, if adding anything extras then fold in the nuts/seeds (leave out dried fruit for now!).
Step 5
Spread evenly on a large baking tray.
Step 6
Bake on the middle shelf for 10 mins, stir, then bake for another 10 mins.
Step 7
Let it cool completely, then stir in the dried fruit.
Step 8
Store in an airtight container and use within 14 days (if it lasts that long!).

- Vary up your flavours by mixing up your nuts, seeds and dried fruit.

- 50g sultanas or dried cranberries
